Resumen: El estudio analiza las novedades que la reforma procesal ordenada por Ley 13/2009, de 3 de noviembre, presenta en relación con los actos de comunicación en el proceso laboral. La reforma afecta a ocho de los diez artículos que integran el Capítulo III, Título IV, Libro I LPL (arts. 53-62 LPL) y responde a dos distintas exigencias. Por un lado, se trata de adecuar la terminología de la ley a los cambios generales derivados de la implantación de la Oficina Judicial y de la correspondiente distribución de competencias entre Jueces y Secretarios judiciales, especialmente al acoger la genérica expresión «resoluciones procesales» para aludir al mismo tiempo tanto a las resoluciones judiciales como a las del Secretario judicial. Y, por otro lado, en estrecha relación con lo anterior, sobre todo por el protagonismo que cobra el Secretario judicial, se mejora el régimen jurídico de los actos de comunicación y se refuerzan las garantías de los justiciables.

Abstract: This study analyzes the innovations introduced by the procedural reform governed by Law 13/2009, of November 3, with regard to acts of communication in labour proceedings. The reform affects eight out of the ten articles of which Chapter III, Part IV, Book I LPL (arts. 53-62 LPL) is comprises, and comes in response to two different demands. On the one hand, the reform tries to adapt the terminology of the law to the general changes derived from the implantation of the Judicial Office and the corresponding distribution of competences between Judges Secretaries, in particular by adopting the generic expression «procedural resolutions» to refer to resolutins both by the Judge and by the Judicial Secretary. On the other hand, and closely linked to the above, the reform improves the legal regime of acts of communication and reinforces the suit guarantees for the parties involved.
