Real Decreto 1430/2009, de 11 de septiembre. La culminación de un nuevo modelo de control de la Incapacidad Temporal

Resumen: La gestión de las prestaciones de Seguridad Social tiene su tendón de Aquiles en el control de los procesos de baja médica. El desproporcionado aumento de las bajas médicas, desde el año 2000 hasta el 2005, ha motivado la reforma sucesiva de la normativa que regula la gestión de la incapacidad temporal. El Real Decreto 1430/ 2009, de 11 de septiembre, constituye el último eslabón de un nuevo modelo de control que se viene pergeñando desde el año 2005. El presente trabajo valora las novedades contenidas en esta última norma reglamentaria aprobada por el Gobierno.

Abstract: The most troublesome point in the management of social security benefits, is the control of sick leaves. The disproportionate increase of sick leaves, from 2000 to 2005, has motivated constant changes of the temporary disability regulation. The RD 1430/2009, September 11th, is the last step of the new control system that has been brewing since 2005. This essay checks the innovations of the last regulation passed by the Government.
